Rudimental’s New Music Video “Not Giving In” Set in Manila

London-based singing quartet Rudimental, whose single ‘Feel the Love’ topped UK charts, has released their latest single, ‘Not Giving In,’ and a visually stunning music video which was shot entirely in Manila.

The band (Piers Agget, Kesi Dryden, Amir Amor and DJ Leon Rolle) is accompanied on the song by John Newman, and this dude named Alex Clare, whose work you might recognize every time you see an IE9 commercial that plays his hit song, ‘Too Close.’

Shot in the slums of Manila, the video for ‘Not Giving In’ relays the story of a Filipino breakdancer named Mouse, who later in life wins the World Breakdancing Championships three times. The director of the video, Josh Cole, knew Mouse for 15 years, and in the video, they bring in an 11-year old phenom named Allen Añas to play the role of the renowned B-Boy.

The video relays a vivid peek into ‘squatter’s areas’ and other parts of the city, and is just shot in a very beautiful manner.
