White House Down’s Channing Tatum Tweets “Mabuhay”

The Philippines received a nice tweet from movie star Channing Tatum yesterday:

Tatum, star of films such as Coach Carter, 21 Jump Street and the GI: Joe franchise blockbusters is promoting his latest project with Jamie Foxx, White House Down.

So far, they’ve done pretty well marketing their brand as a new duo, including making a new song with Jimmy Kimmel.

The movie hasn’t exactly blown away audiences, but it’s not exactly horrible either, with 2.5 of 5 star ratings from Rotten Tomatoes and MetaCritic. 

In it’s opening weekend, WHD had to compete with “The Heat” with starred a Sandra Bullock-Melissa McCarthy duo, and WHD also initially had to deal with early successes of “Monsters University.”

White House Down is now showing in theaters. Check out the trailer below:
