In a letter addressed to the 44th Elected President of the United States, the Philippines’ own Commander-in-Chief sent his congratulations to Barack Obama yesterday, November 7th.
As an ally of the US, and with a very genial relationship with Obama, President Noynoy Aquino wrote about how Obama’s message of hope from the 2008 campaign resonated with him. Aquino also commented on how it is easy to understand Obama’s direction, as they share a ‘common set of aspirations’ for their respective peoples.
