One lucky Filipino eBay seller named ‘pinoyako4life‘ scores a huge profit by putting up a pair of Air Yeezy 2s, Kanye West and Nike’s new joint venture. Ever since the first pair that ‘Ye and the Swoosh put out for the market, Kanye’s signature kicks have become something of a pop culture phenomena.
By making it extremely limited (5000 pairs will be released), with a pretty significant retail tag, and as it is the signature sneaker of one very, very famous musician, Nike racks the riches and leaves sneakerheads with perhaps the most hyped shoe since the Jordan XIs.
From the original starting bid of $0.99, bids crept up steadily, and then outrageously, with the winning bid closing at $90,300.
