Martin Scorsese Inks HBO Deal for Bill Clinton Documentary

A documentary on the 42nd President of the United States of America is in the works. And to have someone like Martin Scorsese spearheading the project, you can assume that it will be good.

The Home Box Office has built a perceived quality of being the place for people to find more formed programming. And when HBO executives Richard Plepler and Michael Lombardo refer to William Jefferson Clinton as “…one of the most compelling figures of our time,” it is, surprisingly, an understatement, because of just how much he is revered by a majority of the American public.

I mean, a 73% approval rating-high has to mean something, right?

It has also been reported that Clinton will provide his full cooperation with the project.

With a great legacy left from his time in office, Clinton was one that had no problems ‘crossing the isle’ to work with the conservative side, all while leading the country to a successful economy and a philosophy that was centered on what’s best for the middle class and the supply-and-demand of a free market.

Of course, he is also without controversy, after the infamous scandal with Monica Lewinsky, which led to Clinton’s untimely impeachment.

(This was also perhaps was the beginning of the country’s economic downfall with the arrival of his successor.)

All in all, there will be great anticipation for this film, for sure.
