It’s no secret that with a deep love for basketball, Filipinos also love their kicks. So, from the month of August to the end of the year, we thought we’d share a few upcoming releases we caught wind of.
1.) The T-Mac One
There was a time when Adidas basketball was campaigned by Tracy McGrady, along with Kevin Garnett and Tim Duncan. But it was T-Mac that was the most popular. And this month, his first signature line is making a comeback.
2.) Air Jordan IV – Fire Red
The counterpart to the infamous “Military Blue,” the AJIV Fire Red hits retailers on Aug. 4th, and is expected to receive a decent response.
3.) Reebok’s Answer IV
Allen Iverson was and still is the biggest hoop name when one mentions Reebok. And after re-releasing The Question last May, Reebok is coming out with another A.I. signature kick for this month.
4.) Air Jordan VII – The Raptor
Sporting Toronto’s colorways were actually a coincidence, as MJ rocked these badboys in 1992, “shrugging” his way to a second straight Larry O’Brien Trophy.
5.) Air Jordan IX – Olive
The Olives were an instant classic. And on a personal note, they’re one of my favorites, as they were my first pair as a kid. Coming to retailers on Nov. 17.
