The plot according to the film’s official Facebook page:

We follow Steve Jobs (ASHTON KUTCHER) from the enthusiasm and self-discovery of his youth through his darkest days, brightest triumphs, and the ultimate power of his drive, his passions, and his undying will to change everything we thought possible. Dark, honest, and uncompromising, “Jobs” plunges into the depths of Steve Jobs’ character, uncovering his driving motivations, his gifts, his flaws, his failures, and his ultimate successes.

The rest of the cast includes Dermot Mulroney, Josh Gad, Matthew Modine, J.K. Simmons, Ahna O’Reilly, Lukas Haas, James Woods, Lesley Ann Warren, and Kevin Dun.

According to Yahoo! News, jOBS will be facing stiff competition from major film studio Sony Pictures when it releases its own Steve Jobs biopic. Based on the book by Walter Isaacson, the screenplay for the Sony Pictures film will be written by Aaron Sorkin (whose previous works include The Social Network and Charlie Wilson’s War, and is currently heading The Newsroom on HBO, which will be in its second season this January.).
